Presence – Bridging TIPT (Broadworks) and Skype for Business (Lync)
Presence provides seamless integration between Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and TIPT (Broadworks). Using Presence to interconnect your TIPT account to Skype for Business will allow your colleagues to see if you are on the phone, and enables you to place calls from Skype for Business without touching your telephone handset.
You can also answer calls, place calls on hold and transfer to anyone on your contact list directly from your desktop. Multiple calls are displayed in a stacked layout, making it easier to switch between calls.
When enabled, other Skype for Business users within your organisation can see information about the call that you are currently in, such as whom you are on the phone to. Your call history is saved so you can redial quickly at the click of a button.
The Presence portal provides an organization the ability to centrally manage Presence for Skype for Business and TIPT.
